Get Well Soon John!

The Hoops Down Under group was very shocked to hear a long time fellow Hoopster, John Harris, who has attended many Melbourne Meets over the last 3-4 seasons, suffered a mild heart attack two weeks ago and after a week long stay in hospital is now resting & recovering at his home in Geelong, Victoria.

The Hoops Down Under sent John a get well card today to send on their best wishes for a speedy recovery. Marc Bircham, former QPR player and now assistant first team coach, also wrote John a get well message that read "To John. So sorry to hear about your recent heart attack. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Be lucky! Marc Bircham" - Legend Marc! John said on Facebook "Thank you so much to Mark Davis and all the Hoops Down Under gang for the lovely Get Well card I received today following my recent hospital stay. It was an unexpected surprise which helped to lift my spirits. I am progressing well now and it's great to be thought of by the many friends that I have made through this great group of people! Yep following QPR is obviously a health hazard but it's a habit I can't break!"
